Widgets in SuperrBoard are designed to bring double the fun and engagement to your classrooms! A set of interactive tools, they extend the functionality of the digital whiteboard and make lessons even more impactful.
To use Widgets, tap on the Widget Menu from the toolkit in your Whiteboards.


Here are the types of widgets SuperrBoard has -
Files
Be it your personal teaching files or files you have shared with your class, you can easily add them to your whiteboard at any time ****while teaching.
SuperrBoard makes it easy to refer to all types of teaching material - images, PDFs, slides, or videos - right on the board.
Here’s how to add a file:
- Tap on Files from the Widget Menu.

- The Files menu will open. Here you can either search for a file name or hold and drag to quickly add a recently opened file to your board.

- To search for a file, tap on the search bar. It will open a writing area. Here you can scribble the name of the file or tap on past searches. To erase the scribble, tap on the trash icon on the top right corner!

- Once you tap Search, you will be able to browse through all your files that contain that keyword in their name. Find the file you want and drag and drop it onto the board.

- Tap the cross icon (✕) to close the menu when you’re done!
Web Search
Web Search allows teachers to quickly access external online resources. This widget is useful for pulling up images and videos from the internet that provide rich ways to supplement your teaching during a class.
- Open the Widget Menu and select Web Search.

- Tapping the Web Search Widget opens a new popup window which provides several quick options:
- Scribble Area: An area to scribble your search query.
- Recents: A list of previously searched topics or items for quick access.
- Cross icon (✕): to close the menu.

- To search for images and videos, scribble your topic in the writing area or tap on past searches. To erase the scribble, tap on the trash icon on the top right corner! Once done, hit the Search button.

- Once you tap Search, you will see web results - images and videos - for that keyword.
- Viewing Search Results: Your search results are organised into 2 distinct tabs:
- Images: Shows a collection of relevant photos or diagrams.
- Videos: Displays a list of educational or related video content.
- Tab Switching: You can easily switch between Images and Videos tabs by tapping on the pills under the search bar.
- Adding to Board: To incorporate visual media into your page, simply tap and hold an image or video thumbnail and drag it onto the main whiteboard area.
- Refining Search: If the current results aren't what you're looking for, tap the "Clear" button in the Search bar to quickly erase the existing search term and start a new search.


You can perform a visual web search using your board content. To do this, select the desired sketch or drawing with the Lasso Tool, and then initiate the search function to look up your visual content on the web.

Student Picker
The Student Picker tool randomly selects one or more students from the class. This feature is a fun way for ensuring equitable participation in activities, assigning group roles, or choosing students for practical demonstrations or explanations.
